Roterberg, August. Group of three Roterberg magic books. Including Latter Day Tricks (1896), New Era Card Tricks (1897), and The Modern Wizard (ca. 1897). All in publisher's cloth, illustrated, and 8vo or smaller. Condition varies from fair to very good. Roterberg was a Chicago based manufacturer and dealer of magic tricks and novelties who invented many standard tricks with cards and billiard balls. His books remain important works in the literature of conjuring as they represent the first place many still-used sleights and tricks were first published.
