Sold for:
$550

Mulholland, John. Mulholland Cigarette Box. Handsome ebonite box 3 x 4 x 1 ¾". Identical in size and design to boxes that Nate Leipzig, Mulholland's teacher, produced in limited quantities and presented as a gift to friends. Hallmarked "NIC/4." Very good condition. Uncommon. While several examples of the Leipzig version of this box are known (and were, in fact sold by Kanter's Magic Shop), no other examples of a Mulholland have been located.
