Kratky-Baschik, Anton. Full length portrait of Kratky-Baschik performing a card trick. In albumen carte de visite format, on a mount measuring 2 ½ x 4 ". Image somewhat faded, otherwise good condition. Scarce. Kratky-Baschik operated his own magic theatre in Vienna, and was succeeded by Ottokar Fischer. The Martinka Brothers worked at the theatre, both behind the scenes and in the office, before coming to America and establishing their famous magic store in Manhattan.
