Three-sheet (40 x 76 ½”) color lithograph poster with a nautical theme, advertising Levante’s illusion of shooting a girl through a sheet of steel. Designed by Robert Kemp. Minor restoration and holes at folds and tears in image, borders chipped. A-. Levante purchased the apparatus for the illusion advertised in this poster from The Great Leon (Leon Levy) in 1937. Levante used the apparatus for years, until an accident with one of the cables securing the props to the stage killed one of his assistants.
