Including ten different "red sections" and two "black sections," supplements to the New York World edited by Houdini; and hundreds of newspaper clippings of varying sizes, contemporary to Houdini's life, evidencing his popularity in the public media. Considerable information about this escape artist who devoted a great deal of his later years to uncovering false mediums and spiritualists is present. 1920s. Good condition. With: An 8 x 10" photograph of Houdini and Kellar standing by the automaton Psycho, with penciled notation on verso by Dunninger with signature, attesting to his ownership of the very automaton depicted. A nearly complete sheet of the Houdini commemorative poster stamp is included.
