Hardeen (Theodore Weiss). Early sepia-toned ½ length photographic portrait of Hardeen in cabinet card format. Obermüller and Son, New York, ca. 1899. Hardeen, bare-chested and arms crossed, looks directly at the camera. On a mount measuring 4 ¼ x 6 ½". Significantly worn at extremities and on image, but still a desirable, uncommon image of Houdini's brother. With: a pictorial postcard advertising Hardeen's appearance at the Alhambra, Blackpool. Ca. 1905. Light wear and soiling as expected.
