Undated except as "Mon. 7th," and bearing a return address of Vernon's home in Ottawa, Canada, the letter discusses Vernon's daily life and doings, his father, and his friends. A unique, early and personal piece of correspondence. Signed, "Your affectionate son David." Folded and crudely repaired but intact; fair condition.
