Likely Chiinese, likely 20th century. A pair of well carved stone fu dogs or fu lions traditionally depicted with the female bearing a pup below her right foot and the male bearing an embroidered ball below his left foot, each figure also with a second example of their attribute resting atop their horizontal back as their head tilts to one side with jaws agape, each figure to an integral egg form base. Each sculpture with a sanguine wax seal atop it's head, otherwise unmarked. Each approximate height 7.25", width 3.375", depth 5.25".
