Reed & Barton (American (Taunton, Massachusetts), 1824-2015), circa 1870. Collection of two silver plated items comprising of a covered sweet meat dish with resting goat form finial at top of domed lid flanked by C-scroll handles, interior with removable ruby or cranberry glass liner, accented by pierced body with four oval medallion with Roman male centurion in profile under textured lappet banding at top, overall supported on oblong oval foot; and a diminutive C-scroll handled cream pitcher with removable ruby or cranberry glass liner with matching motif. Each marked on bottom with "MFD & PLATED BY REED & BARTON". Handled pitcher also marked on bottom with pattern number "1969". Each piece also later marked with "N513C". Lidded sweet meat dish approximate height 6.4", width (across handles) 7.25", depth 4.6". Pitcher approximate height 5.25".
