Montigny-sur-Loing faience vessel of moon flask form with maroon red glazed lip above cylindrical neck flanked with scrolled handles above flattened rounded body decorated with hand painted enamel circular medallion with male rider in maroon tunic on white horse against cobalt blue ground, rest of vase in mottled green. Marked on bottom with overlapping SL monogram in front of "Rands" above "Montigny S Loing" for region of manufacture known form Impressionist Ceramics in blue. Overall approximate height 13.125", width 10", depth 3.25".
