Iranian, 20th century. A fine silk prayer carpet having a colorful tree of life floral design emanating from a metallic thread decorated urn on ivory ground. Multiple borders of scrolling interlocking foliage, flowerheads and boteh. The signature cartouche can be found at the top middle of the final guard border. Carpet is suspended from a tasseled rod for hanging . Measures Approximately 39" x 27.5", not including fringe or rod.
