Likely Continental, Late 19th/Early 20th century. Hand woven wool tapestry panel depicting an British clipper ship with large sails and wooden hull in water flanked by rocky cliffs and green leaved plant and tree growth under a blue sky with clouds, upper right corner with oval medallion Royal Coat of Arms for the United Kingdom, lion and unicorn motif repeated on body of ship, scene contained within leaved border, fringe on left and right side. Back with remnant of vintage label. Overall approximately 46.5" x 45.25".
