Late 19th/Early 20th century. Hand beaded and stitched textile panel of shield form with applied decoration throughout front in the form of leaves, flowers, hearts, scrolled foliates, butterflies, insects, and heraldic shields accented in seed beads and silvered sequins. Unsigned. Textile joined to brass hanging rod for display. Textile measures approximately 20" x 16.25". Provenance: From the Estate of Dr. Woody and Mrs. Honor Cobbs, Atlanta, Georgia.
