Don Freeman (American, 1908-1978), "Ira's First Suit"-1934, lithograph on paper, pencil signed lower right margin, titled in pencil lower left margin. Figural scene depicting a young boy with his mother and father in the interior of a tailor shop where the shopkeeper holds up a small suit. Young children peer into the windows facing the street as a boy steps down the shop stairs. Interior of shop cluttered with suits, dress forms and other sewing items. Framed approximately 20" x 21". Sight size approximately 10.25" x 12". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Benno & Babette Rothschild, Columbus, Georgia.
