Pair of 19th century genre scene paintings, one depicting a country castle set within a lush green landscape with dirt road to foreground set before a low stone wall with man driving a horse drawn carriage accompanied by a man and dog on foot; the second work depicting a waterside country landscape with wide dirt road to foreground, the path with walking figures and a horse drawn cart set before a house uphill at right and an expansive waterway to background. Each painting to a gilt carved wood and gesso frame. Each framed approximately 15.375" x 19.5".
