Continental School, late 18th / early 19th century. "Landscape with Cottages", oil on board, apparently unsigned. Horizontally oriented pastoral landscape painting depicting village scene with three cottages, one built with stones with thatched roof, with dirt path and haystack, with birds pecking at the green grass in the foreground, with rolling green hills in the background. Framed approximately 16.25" x 19.25". Unframed approximately 9.5" x 12.5". Provenance: Property of the Estate of Dr. Woody Cobbs and Mrs. Honor Cobbs, Atlanta, Georgia.
