Large handmade 14k yellow gold, amethyst, and pearl brooch or pin with natural, bezel set, mixed cut faceted oval shape amethyst (approximately 46 carats, color: dark purple, clarity: VS) within a twisted 14k yellow gold wire border of cultured pearls. Unmarked, however acid tested as 14k quality. Brooch measures approximately 0.90" x 1.50". Total weight approximately 15 grams. Provenance: acquired by the Estate of Dr. Woody Cobbs and Mrs. Honor Cobbs, Atlanta, Georgia.
