Chinese, 20th century. A porcelain jar or urn with cobalt blue underglaze decoration on white ground depicting a seascape on tondo with ducks swimming amid willow trees and lotus plants, the ring foot with a band of lappets, the shoulder with a band of meandering chrysanthemum vines, and the straight neck with a faux bois band. Vessel to a carved wood stand. Underside with two lines of painted calligraphic marks beside an applied porcelain rectangular seal with impressed calligraphy. Overall approximate height 13.25", diameter 14".
