Continental School, 19th century. "Bustling Street Scene", oil on wood board, apparently unsigned, with later inscription on verso of frame "The Green Market, Dundee". Horizontally-oriented figural landscape painting depicting city street scene (possibly Scotland) with townspeople meandering the narrow crowded street, with rickshaws and horses, with typically overcast Northern European skies overhead. Framed approximately 12" x 18.5". Sight approximately 8.6" x 15.4". Provenance: Property of the Estate of Dr. Woody Cobbs and Mrs. Honor Cobbs, Atlanta, Georgia.
