Larry Bell (American, b. 1939- ), "Untitled (Fraction of Fractions)" -2000, mixed media on paper, pencil signed and dated lower center. Modern mixed media artwork horizontally aligned and created from a fragment of French watercolor paper used to create his Fractions work. Work with pink, green and black painted elements with applied canvas and paper strips. Work accompanied with letter from artist Larry Bell, Taos, New Mexico dated to November 2000. The letter outlines the creation of these works as a gift to celebrate his work on his Fractions project (started in 1996). Letter in original envelope, signed in blue ballpoint pen and with hand written annotations "HOW ARE YOU? COM'N OUT THIS YEAR?". Framed approximately 10.75" x 18". Sight size of sheet in floating frame approximately 2.75" x 10". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Benno & Babette Rothschild, Columbus, Georgia.
