A Regency tortoise shell veneered and mother-of-pearl inlaid tea caddy, the serpentine hinged lid centered with rectangular silver plaque (blank) and opening to an interior fitted with two covered compartments, the exterior front of body inlaid profusely with mother of pearl and silver piping featuring vines and floral motif. The whole resting on bun feet. Approximate height 5.12", base width 7.12", base depth 4.6".
