Continental, 20th century. A pair of impressive 3/4 size cast stone sculptures depicting recumbent adult male lions as sentinels, the nearly mirrored pair depicting with faces turned toward each other with naturalistic full manes, hairy feet, and serpentine tails curled forward on their back feet, each to an integral rectangular plinth base with chamfered corners. Approximate height 29.5", length 51.5", depth 15.75".
