Rare six-gallon Pennsylvania stoneware crock, ca. 1875 , impressed M. & T. Miller Newport, PA , with bold cobalt decoration of a bird perched on a leafy branch, 14 1/4" h., 13 1/2" dia. This is an outstanding example by one of Pennsylvania's most sought after potters. Few works by Miller of this caliber are known.
