Charles Henry Alston (American (New York), 1907-1977). "Untitled", lithograph on cream wove paper, signed within matrix lower right. Scarce lithograph by the noted African American abstract expressionist, the cream sheet filled at center with tonal black and gray overlapping organically shaped fields with negative shapes at center forming somewhat humanoid shapes. Framed approximately 17" x 22.5". Sight size approximately 9" x 14.5". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Benno & Babette Rothschild, Columbus, Georgia.
