A Gustavian Rococo style paint decorated longcase clock, possibly from the town of Mora in Dalarna province, having a pale blue-grey painted pine bombe form case, lacking the movement, with rounded arched hood over open conforming face flanked by scrolled and paneled decoration, the hourglass shaped case with paneled door on a circular base with paneled sides resting on front squat cabriole legs. Approximate height 116", width 29.5", depth 11.25".
