Islamic Kashan pottery cup with slightly tapering body on circular foot, exterior and interior decorated with hand painted running text border at top above interwoven fretwork in cobalt blue above brown patterning, some remnants of lustre iridescence throughout. Overall approximate height 4.7", diameter of top 4.75". Provenance: From the Estate of Dr. Woody Cobbs and Mrs. Honor Cobbs, Atlanta, Georgia.
