Spanish, 20th century. A Louis XV style gilt bronze mounted wood veneered bureau plat having an inset black gilt tooled leather writing surface within undulate-modeled ormolu banding above a conforming frieze fitted a single drawer, the whole decorated with ormolu millwork and foliate hardware, raised on cabriole legs headed by espagnolettes and ending in foliate-scrolled sabots. Stamped to the underside 'Made in Spain'. Approximate height 30.25", width 55.25", depth 29.12".
