Engine-turned and Slip-decorated Creamware Half-pint Mug, England, early 19th century, with two bands of black and white checkering within a rust-colored slip field, applied strap handle with foliate terminals, ht. 3 3/4 in. Estimate $100-150 Chip on the outside of the rim, but no obvious cracks or evidence of repair. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
