Very Rare Watercolor and Pen and Ink House Blessing Fraktur, the Manor Township Artist, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, c. 1822, the central reserve inscribed with a blessing surrounded by birds, tulips, and urns, above a heart dated "1822," (folds, toning, minor losses), 12 x 15 1/4 in., in a period brown-stained frame. Estimate $2,000-3,000 Sheet is laid down on mat board, evidence of rejoined separation along much of horizontal fold and at least the upper portion of the vertical fold, small losses at edges, but no apparent paper restoration or inpainting, paper toned and with scattered spotting.
