Italian Micromosaic Plaque, mid to late 19th century, unsigned, inlaid multicolored stones depicting a peasant woman leaning on a column, 10 x 7 1/2 in. Estimate $4,000-8,000 Black border to each side of micromosaic cracked (one loose, the other in place, but cracked through), with minor chipped losses to corners. Micromosaic panel lifting slightly at the bottom with few slight cracks to surface no chips, missing stone, or inpainting. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
