Louis Karl August Preller (German, 1822-1901) Ship Wrecked upon Rocks Unsigned on recto, inscribed and signed "... /Lous Preller.../Weimar" on a paper label handwritten in German affixed to the reverse. Oil on paper mounted to board, 8 1/8 x 12 1/8 in. (20.5 x 30.6 cm), framed. Condition: Minor surface grime. Estimate $500-700 Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
