Carved Oak Bench, single-board seat, chip-carved apron, turned splayed legs, stretchers, ht. 22 1/2, wd. 67, dp. 10 in. Provenance: The estate of George Way. Estimate $500-700 Age crack to seat with butterfly repair (butterfly joint now gone), on corner joint to carved apron and leg braced with bracket, scattered worming, minor cracks and nicked losses. Legs of later date. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
