George IV Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer Linen Press, England, early 19th century, upper unit with volute-flanked pediment above two doors flanked by spiral half columns, interior with three slide-out shelves, lower unit with two short drawers above two long drawers, brass ring pulls, gadrooned moldings, all set on turned feet, ht. 89, wd. 48 1/2, dp. 22 1/4 in. Estimate $400-600 Replaced brasses, age cracks to sides of lower unit, right door sprung, small section of gadroon molding on left door lacking.
