Charles Crowley Studio Furniture Chair, Gloucester, Massachusetts, c. 1990, machined aluminum, ht. 47 1/2, wd. 21 1/2, dp. 23 in. Note: Charles Crowley is a metalsmith and founding member of Top Dog Studio. The craftsman's Arc-back Chair was included in the Fuller Craft Museum's Made in Massachusetts: Studio Furniture of the Bay State exhibition. Crowley has received numerous awards and examples of his work are in the permanent collections at Yale University and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Estimate $500-1,000 Very good. A few light surface scratches. Chair is structurally sound and all joints are tight. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
