Note: Paul Aferiat and Peter Stamberg are two American architects who take their inspiration from various masters of design. The two principals of New York City's Stamberg Aferiat Architecture grew up on Long Island, where a Marcel Breuer house near their respective towns lit the formative spark. They first collaborated in 1976, starting their firm 13 years later. Stamberg and Aferiat punctuated Bauhaus principles with their signature aesthetic to create the Salsa Lounge Collection for Knoll.
