Rockwell Kent (1882-1971) "Sally" Cigar Box, United States, c. 1930, etched brass, cedar-lined interior, image of a female figure with arms outstretched, incised mark "A.G. Spalding & Sons," ht. 2, wd. 7 1/8, dp. 5 1/2 in. Note: Rockwell Kent was an American painter, printmaker, illustrator, writer, sailor, adventurer, and voyager. The image on this piece is thought to have been derived from Kent's painting of his wife, Sally Kent Gorton. Estimate $200-400 No visible damage or repairs.
