Blue and White Footed Censer, China, Ming dynasty, kuei-form with two chilong loop handles, decorated with lotus scroll below a band of geometric floral pattern, ht. 3 1/2, mouth rim dia. 4 3/8 in. Provenance: Mary Andrews Wolff Collection since 1993, purchased from Blitz, Amsterdam; then by descent to the present owner. Estimate $2,000-3,000 some potting flaws, firing cracks, the unevenness and flaws on glaze with some pockmarks. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
