Two Kirk's Cast Iron Backplate Shelf Clocks, Connecticut, both in mahogany cases with eight-day cast iron backplate movements: a Daniel Pratt Jr. with painted zinc dial and business-card-style interior label, the other unmarked, with painted wood dial and lower part of door glass reverse-painted, ht. 18 1/2 to 21 in. Estimate $300-500 The Daniel Pratt has a Moberg glass. Unmarked dial has a crack from X to II. Both clocks have pendulum and key. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
