Silk and Wool Flame-stitch Pocketbook, 18th century, the exterior with zigzag decoration in shades of blue, red, green, and purple, bound in yellow silk with yellow silk ties, opening to two compartments lined with red silk, ht. 3 3/4, wd. 8 1/4 in. Estimate $800-1,200 Inner lining has some old patches, exterior stitching has areas of stitching loss, and small holes and fraying to edge binding.
