Circular-top Turned-leg Tavern Table, New England, 18th century, the straight skirt above block-, vase-, and ring-turned stretchers, ht. 26, average dia. 29 in. Provenance: Property Approved for Deaccession by the Board of Trustees of Historic Deerfield, Inc. Proceeds to the benefit the Museum Collections Fund. Estimate $800-1,200 crack to top is slightly loose. The paint is 19th or 20th century and it appears that the frame may have been rebuilt.
