Staffordshire Advertising Polar Bear, England, 19th century, the bear with molded body and fur details and ribbon inscribed "GENUINE BEARS GREASE & COLD CREAM SOLD WITHIN," and a molded glacial base, ht. 9 1/2, wd. 15 in. Estimate $3,000-5,000 Base has several cracks, and the ears are chipped. No obvious repair. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
