Turned Adjustable Two-light Candlestand, New England, late 18th century, the threaded post with two-light arm above a circular dished table top, turned post below ending in a circular platform painted with yellow striped "spokes," issuing splayed turned legs, ht. 36 in. Provenance: Property Approved for Deaccession by the Board of Trustees of Historic Deerfield, Inc. Proceeds to the benefit the Museum Collections Fund. Estimate $400-600 Old refinish, nice color. Top is out of round and warped. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
