Oil on canvas, 30 x 25 in., framed. Condition: Craquelure, dent to canvas l.r. Provenance: The estate of Donald A. Hall Jr., New Hampshire. Estimate $1,500-2,500 Stamped "Winton/Prepared by Winsor and Newton Ltd./ London, England" on the reverse, stenciled "26 PC" on the stretcher, inscribed "3025" on the reverse, inscribed "£200" on the turning edge, and with an unidentified hanging tag affixed to the stretcher (on which is stenciled "6858/12 NOV 65" and inscribed "172".
