American Socket Bayonet, c. mid to late 18th century, iron bayonet marked on the base of the blade with an "H," with shield attachment to socket, blade lg. 12 1/2, overall lg. 16 1/2 in. Estimate $150-250 Some pitting and a break in the weld on the top of the socket but in overall good condition. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
