Albrecht Dürer (German, 1471-1528) The Ravisher, c. 1495 (Meder/Hollstein, 76 c/c). Unsigned. Engraving on paper, image/sheet size 4 9/16 x 4 in. (11.5 x 10.0 cm), framed. Condition: Trimmed just inside of the borderline, minute nicks/crimps at edges, toning, floated within the mat, not examined out of frame. Estimate $350-550 The sheet is a mid- to late-16th century paper. The work is hinged to its backing mat at each cornerso the verso is not visible.
