Friedel Dzubas (German/American, 1915-1994) Untitled Signed and dated "Dzubas/1981" on the reverse. Magna (acrylic) on canvas, 32 x 18 in. (81.3 x 45.7 cm), framed. Condition: Surface grime. Provenance: Gift from the artist to the current private collection, Connecticut. Estimate $6,000-8,000 The canvas is not very tautly stretched and has some slight movement/very broad and gentle rippling. There are a few drying cracks to the small area of impasto at lower left. There is heavier grime/staining visible near lower edge on the reverse. Frame dimensions: 33 1/4 x 19 1/4 in. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
