Mexican Saltillo Serape Textile, late Maximillian period, finely and tightly woven in two panels joined at the center, with a slit in the center, in natural ivory, vegetal yellow, green, and reds, with bright indigo blue, with a serrated zigzag pattern in black, the opening with eight silver medallion clasps joined by a fine chain, with long fringe at either end, 83 x 48 in.
