Pair of Maison Alphonse Giroux Bronze Figural Ewers, France, 19th century, each with handle modeled as a putti resting on the shoulders of another, drapery swags and a goat head beneath the spout, inscribed mark, mounted on a stepped slate base, overall ht. 13 in. Estimate $300-500 One with a shallow dent to one side and chips to a corner and beneath the base. One with small chips surrounding the footrim of the base.
