Two Framed Antique Prints: George Edwards (British,1694-1773), Zebra femina... Drawn from the living Animal belonging to His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and French School, 18th/19th Century, Trompette du 9e Regiment de Dragons Zebra signed and dated "G. Edwards Del. Anno 1751" within the composition l.c., both titled beneath the images. Hand-colored etchings and engravings, sight sizes to 11 1/4 x 8 1/2 in. (28.5 x 21.5 cm). Condition: Zebra with creasing and rippling, both with toning, not examined out of frames. N.B. Trompette possibly a later edition published by Mourlot in 1944 after the c. 1800 original. Estimate $150-250 Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
