Porphyry Snake-handled Vase, England, 18th century, gilded mask heads to a brown speckled ground set atop a black basalt plinth marked "Wedgwood & Bentley," ht. 8 1/2 in. Estimate $400-600 Top rim with two chips; overall likely regilded; handle and lower body restored. Plinth likely a marriage and with chipping to corners and edges.
